Juicy, full-bodied and succulent Italian red wine made from the appassimento method of drying grapes on baboo racks before fermentation to add weight, body and colour to the final wine. Aromas of black cherry & spices with deep purple ruby colour. A rich, full bodied red wine with a firm, long finish. Food pairing with risotto all'amarone, braised beef, game, quails and richly flavoured dishes. Very good with well-aged cheeses, such as parmesan, pecorino and gorgonzola.
