Featuring a flat base to ensurestability and generous proportions for large-batch cooking, it’s crafted ofdurable cast iron which is excellent for heat retention and, when well-seasoned,it’s naturally non-stick.Before first use: Wash in hot soapy water – scrub to removeanti-rust coating then rinse, dry and apply a cooking oil to the surface toseason. Forbest results, re-season regularly: To season the wok, coat the inside with vegetable oil, cookingoil spray or melted solid shortening. Use a cloth or paper towel to spread theoil. Heat on stovetop, then wipe away excess oil. Leave on stovetop to cool,then store once cooled completely. Using wok: Preheatover medium heat for 2 minutes to prepare the surface and allow food to cookevenly without sticking. Can be used on most cooking surfaces including inductioncooktops. Using cast iron on a glass stovetop is not recommended. Oven safe without lid. <u5:p></u5:p><u5:p></u5:p>
