PC Green: Introducing Canada’s Greenest Shopping Bag
It’s been almost 20 years since we introduced our first PC® Green® products and as our global problems grow at an alarming rate, it’s clear there is much more work to be done. Now more than ever, we’re committed to developing effective products that can help ease the burden on our planet and preserve our natural resources. We strongly believe that it’s up to all of us to share some part of this great responsibility. Canada’s greenest shopping bag
Finally a shopping bag that doesn’t cost the earth™. Twice the size of a standard plastic grocery bag and withstands about 50 store trips – about 1 full year. We’re reusing valuable raw materials and reducing the use of non-renewable energy needed to create new polyester.
- 85% of the fabric comes from post-consumer recycled plastic soft drink and water bottles
- From weekly use of one bag, each person can divert approximately 100 plastic bags from landfill sites every year
- Fully recyclable – just bring it back to the store at the end of its useful life and we’ll take care of the rest

If every household in Canada replaced 1 roll of virgin toilet paper with 1 roll of recycled toilet paper we could save thousands of trees for more highly valued uses. Our 2-ply bathroom tissue and paper towels are produced with no chlorine bleach added. Available in double rolls only so you don’t make as many trips to the store and we reduced the amount of packaging waste
80-90% of the energy we expend in washing our clothes is merely from heating the water. This smaller bottle holds 3 times the cold water cleaning power of our regular detergents. You’ll wash the same number of loads with much less detergent, reduce waste, lower heating bills, and help reduce reliance on non-renewable resources. Suitable for high efficiency washers.
